Creating Climate Wealth interview: James Cameron

“I think the whole economy has to have in mind what the consequences of wealth creation are. It’s not sufficient to just say, ‘I generate loads of wealth.’”

I’m talking to James Cameron, executive vice chairman of investment management group Climate Change Capital, and he’s in full flow on a subject he’s passionate about – one that’s embodied in CCC’s
slogan, ‘Creating wealth worth having.’ “You have to ask, ‘What are the consequences?’ he continues. ‘Wealth from what? What did you leave behind for the next generation that has to pick up the tab because your wealth depleted resources so significantly it simply wasn’t worth having?”
